Late Shri Pt. Kanahya Lal Punj
Born on June 26 1892, at Saidpur in Tehsil Chatwal (now in Pakistan), was a man of innovative thinking, selfless dedication and religious optimism.
After finishing his education he took up a job, but soon left it and started his business with honesty, sincerity, and hard work, taking it to greater heights.
Late Smt. Dayawanti Punj
Born in Chatwal Tehsil (now in Pakistan) in 1901. She was a pious and noble lady, rooted in idealism. A guiding mother, she very efficiently discharged her family responsibilities with a spirit of devotion.
Her life’s motto was “To Generate Devotion, Appreciation & Affinity. Full of Wisdom, Nobility, Achievement, Tranquility and Idealism, with Understanding and Joy in society”.

Born on August 24 1932, was an eminent Entrepreneur and Educationist with a philanthropic bent of mind.
Late Smt. Indu Punj
Born on October 23 1935, Late Smt. Indu Punj was a pious and blessed lady, full of the joy of life. She believed in honesty, integrity, tolerance and respect for others. She played a pivotal role in the establishment of DPMS at Sitamarhi.
She also played an important role in the upliftment and emancipation of the poor and disadvantaged people of Sitamarhi.

दयावंती पुंज मॉडल स्कूल में हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया गणतंत्र दिवस
दयावंती पुंज मॉडल स्कूल में 75वां गणतंत्र दिवस हर्षोल्लास के साथ मनाया गया। विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य श्री शैलेश अग्रवाल ने ध्वजारोहण किया l राष्ट्रगान के तत्पश्चात एनसीसी कैडेट्स व चारों सदनों के छात्रों द्वारा एक जीवंत मार्च पास्ट निकाला गया l इस अवसर पर विद्यालय में सांस्कृतिक कार्यक्रम का आयोजन किया गया जिसमें विद्यार्थियों के द्वारा कई मनमोहक, कालात्मक एवं उत्कृष्ट प्रस्तुतियाँ प्रस्तुत की गई। विद्यार्थियों की सांस्कृतिक प्रस्तुति में ‘ खूब लड़ी मर्दानी ‘नाट्य प्रस्तुति नें वहाँ पर उपस्थित दर्शकों को मन्त्रमुग्ध कर लिया। कार्यक्रम को संबोधित करते हुए विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य शैलेश अग्रवाल ने पूरे विद्यालय परिवार एवं उपस्थित अतिथियों को 75 वां गणतंत्र दिवस की बधाई एवं शुभकामनाएँ दी।
उन्होंनें छात्रों को राष्ट्रीय ध्वज की महत्ता बताई व बच्चों को देशभक्तों के जीवन से अवगत कराया । कार्यक्रम में विद्यालय के उपप्रधाना चार्य ने अपने धन्यवाद ज्ञापन में कहा कि हम गणतंत्र दिवस पर यह प्रेरणा लेते हैं कि आपसी भेदभाव को मिटा कर राष्ट्र निर्माण के प्रत्येक कार्य में योगदान देंगे। इस अवसर पर विद्यालय के प्रधानाचार्य, उप प्रधानाचार्य, हेडमिस्ट्रेस आशा उपाध्याय के साथ विद्यालय के सभी शिक्षकगण एवं अन्य सहयोगकर्मीगण उपस्थित रहे
